The Heavenly Italian Ice Cream Shop: Abby Clements
Marco Rocco was born in Grottaglie, in the south of Italy, a city known for its ancient tradition of ceramic objects made by hand. Rocco is a part of this history as he is part of the fifth creative generation of his family. The Rocco family factory, founded over two centuries ago by his great-great-grandfather, is still active today, distributing to most of Grottaglie´s ceramic factories and shops. During his adventurous youth, his creativity blossomed when he started to create his own toys, ranging from fanciful objects to ingenious traps for lizards that lived around the big factory. Over the years, he always demonstrated more and more curiosity toward the objects around him. ´What is that?´, ´How does it work?´; disassembling, assembling, and reinventing everything he saw. During his studies in elementary and middle school, he clearly demonstrated a keen interest in the world of design, resulting in him opting for a technical course aimed at this specific area, instead of a conventional high school course. At this stage, at the age of 15, he started developing his own projects in earnest and discovered his skills through direct experiences in projects and prototypes. Many of the projects were extracurricular, accompanying his teacher and designer Angelo Galiandro. Some years later he graduated in Design from the University of Florence in Italy and began to develop projects at an international level, along with famous Italian studios. In 2011 he founded his own design studio based in Italy and excelled at creating exceptional products like the famous Origami Kitchen, projects like PuzzleCook, and interiors of large pubs and restaurants such as the Convivium Restaurant in Italy. Today, expanding his work outside the European capitals, Rocco also travels to South America, solidifying a branch in São Paulo in Brazil, and beginning the diffusion of fantastic collections there. The smaller pendant lamp in this duo measures 20 x 20 x 28 cm (WxDxH). Measurements of the larger pendant are listed below.

Cornice musicale: Greensleves, musica popolare inglese. Please note: This audiobook is in Italian. 1. Italian.
